WORDS

It’s hard to get the first sentence rolling. I usually spend insane hours thinking about a concept that I want to write about. It's labor twenty-four hours a day and finally, when I articulate my thoughts, all that remains is the vestigial nonsense. One often goes astray from the original idea or sometimes, forgets the main theme altogether. The propensity to jump on the bandwagon of young poets and authors overpowers everything else. Ambiguity is much appreciated. It glorifies one's resume and college applications. “I got a third-class college degree and a first-class illusion: that I was a poet. But nothing could have been less poetic that my seeing-through-all boredom with life in general and with making a living in particular. I was too green to know that all cynicism masks a failure to cope- impotence, in short, and to despise all effort is the greatest effort of all” is a quote I heard from John Fowles's book, The Magus. This perfectly sums up the nihilistic angst that one’s goes through as a teen on the threshold of adulthood. There’s no tea party without fancy china and books decorating the table. The strategy is to have some incomprehensible words peppered throughout the never-ending essay.

Startups funded by the government and endorsed by industrialists are breaking the limitations that hitherto existed in the market; Interns provide a cheap workforce and are often unrecognized. Meager remuneration and the work they usually deal with lead to no sustenance except being economical for the company. ‘It all starts with an idea’ has always been the anthem of startup culture. It is an unconventional manifestation of beauty; unrefined and rugged. We rarely see business from the vantage point of beauty as utility takes the top priority. Every idea and creative work has been commodified, analyzed, and marketed. One can never visualize YouTube or Spotify without advertisements.   Beauty is a tiny plastic plant thrown around on the office desk. The words ‘Leadership’, ‘Growth’, and ‘Integrity’ echoes incessantly.
