GETTING LOST IN A BOOK

Out in the garden of rose

I sit reading a book of prose

Smelling the book and

Flipping through the yellow pages

I get transported to another world

of mysteries to unfold

and many secrets yet to be told

Dreaming with open eyes

of fairies and faraway lands

From pirates to Hogwarts and

adventures and actions

Books open up a new world to me

A lot of entertainment I get

and the world outside I forget
