THE VIRUS VIBES

 

                                          The coronavirus ravaged the year 2020 and left no stone unturned in destruction. From economic crisis, job loss, online classes, deaths due to the virus, exposing loop holes in the medical sector, a tiny, single virus had brought the world to a standstill. The virus was enough to send shivers down our spine, making us numb and agree to it’s commands. Even the powerful countries like the USA, China, Russia and literally the whole world was at it’s mercy. The virus knew no gender, caste, country, age except destruction. Just like humans, selfish, greedy and having innumerable desires. The world was in a rat race, running behind money oblivious of environment, love and everything else that mattered. We were like the virus, devoid of love, empathy and compassion to our fellow beings. Suddenly a small creature made us realize that everything in between mattered. Everyone had to stop and look back at life. Look back, realize our mistakes and learn from it. The virus showed us that the power of love and friendship transcends time, age and culture. We empathized and stood united with our warriors. We came to know the importance of mother earth. Above all, the whole world felt like a family fighting against the virus together. We wouldn’t have known all these if the virus wasn’t present. The virus was good in a way, after all.  This year as we gear up to get ourselves vaccinated .Let’s eliminate all the negativity and bring in some light. We are in this together!
