FUTURE

The mystery of life is that we never know what future brings to us, yet I believe that our future is in our making. Students are dodged on hearing the word 'future'. Anxiety and worry creeps into their mind thinking of their future plans and goals.

In this competitive world everyone is trying to pull the other down and be the best. Rather than emphasizing on quality education today's world is running behind the maximization of marks. Consequently students are pressurized to study hard to score good marks and their is no opportunity to exhibit their talents.

Some students are perplexed and confused as to which field of specialization they would be pursuing. Choosing a field of engineering or medical has been drilled into majority of students mind. They do not have the courage to break the stereotype and follow their passion.   

All the above reasons create a clash between the heart and the mind. They do not know what to follow? The heart or the mind?

For example, if one loves wildlife photography but is forced to take up engineering, there is a war between one's heart telling to be a wildlife photographer and mind pushing to take engineering. Sadly, most of the students end up doing the job in which they are not interested burying all their dreams. By the turn of 40's they are discontent and disinterested in their work. They undergo stress, depression and are unable to work properly.

But I suggest, one to have the courage to pursue their heart and intuition. Always do what you love and enjoy the most for this gives you eternal happiness. Try to be more cooperative than being competitive. Your future depends on the choice you make today and never let your fear decide your future. Chase your dreams and live it!
